Project Scope
Graycor Construction was the general contractor for the 19,000-square-foot, ground up construction of the first Container Store in the state of Oklahoma on a vacant outparcel at Penn Square Mall, Oklahoma City’s premier fashion destination.
The building structure consists of steel, CMU walls and thermoplastic membrane roofing. Exterior finishes include brick veneer, simulated stone panel, ACM metal panel and aluminum storefronts.
Interior finishes include mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems. The sales floor ceiling is a hybrid of traditional TCS ceiling and the new “cloud” open ceiling prototype.
Back of the house areas include restrooms, breakroom, electrical room, communication room, offices, janitor closet and two stockrooms.
Site improvements include site utilities, concrete/asphalt paving and landscaping of the 2.6-acre site.
