Project Scope

Graycor Construction is currently providing preconstruction and construction services on this new 628,713-square-foot, cold storage, warehouse and distribution center.

The project includes a high-capacity perishable distribution center, truck maintenance garage, fuel island, pallet processing center, maintenance building, fire pump house and a guardhouse on this 68-acre site. The main building will consist of 548,324 square feet of warehouse space, 38,446 square feet of office space, a 4,291-square-foot mezzanine and a 5,680-square-foot energy center. An owner-equipped, 73-foot-tall, 291,000-square-foot. high-capacity, automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS) with mezzanines will be installed within the building.

Temperature-controlled areas include a -15-degree freezer, 28-degree meat, 34-degree wet produce, 34-degree dairy and dock and a 55-degree dry produce area. An extensive fire protection system will consist of Quell, ESFR, dry and double interlock with the fire pump house and a 700,000-gallon tank.
